CERTI-ROOF is the new “certified roof system” by Tegola Canadese that offers the possibility of building a roof with a simple but at the same time safe and certified construction technology. CERTI-ROOF is an insulated and ventilated roof that thanks to the perfect integration and quality of all its components guarantees high quality standards of the roof system, energy savings and living comfort. CERTI-ROOF is a ready “package”: Tegola Canadese offers a range of possible layer combinations for different performance levels based on the specific design needs.

Light roof system
The CERTI-ROOF design flexibility combined with system lightness, for an overall weight of approximately 35 kg/m2. In designing the building, a light roof allows the use of lean vertical supporting structures. In case of restoration it also contributes to improving the seismic performance of existing buildings.
Thanks to CERTI-ROOF, the designer can design a new roof or restore an existing one with the certified guarantee of compliance with the current regulations.
Technical characteristics
The CERTI-ROOF double crossed metal frame makes it possible to also use this technology with significant centre distances and considerable overloads. The CERTI-ROOF system adjusts to the structural needs, offering a roofing solution that can adapt to large frames with centre distances of up to 120 cm.

Certi-Roof versions
Version “A”
Certified as follows:
– reaction to fire from the inside;
– reaction to fire from the outside;
– thermal insulation;
– sound insulation;
Different solutions are possible for uses not requiring all these certificates.
Version “B”
In this case, no certificate for reaction to fire from the inside is required when using a Tegotherm AVF-GC multi-ply board, which entails the coupling of the Tegotherm AVF insulation with a coated gypsum core board, instead of a board with A1 fire resistance class.
CERTI-ROOF “B” will therefore hold the following certificates:
– reaction to fire from the outside;
– thermal insulation;
– sound insulation.
Version “C”
In this case only the Tegotherm AVF insulating board with a thickness of 100 mm is used. This solution is only used on continuous and flat laying surfaces, such as tongue and groove roof decks.
CERTI-ROOF version “C” has no reaction to fire from the inside or sound insulation certificates, although it still holds the following certificates:
– reaction to fire from the outside;
– thermal insulation.
