VENTILATED FACADES Efficient thermal insulation
Ventilated facades add a high degree of living comfort to buildings thanks to a ventilation space between the wall and wall cladding.
Any temperature change inside the ventilation space causes the air to move upwards, thus enhancing the building’s thermal insulation. Especially in summer, this ensures an effective dispersion of any heat build-up in the wall caused by exposure to the sun.
An exclusive technology
Prestige Compact has been applied over 12.5-mm-thick plywood panels attached to 4x5 cm vertical timber strips spaced 61 cm apart. The strips have been fastened to the reinforced concrete wall with expansion bolts. The facade is 65 metres high.
