Continuous and even underlayment
An asphalt membrane with a spunbonded polyester fabric weave, Start bar is the ideal underlayment for any roofing system. It compensates for any deck unevenness, in addition to allowing water to flow and to separating the roofing from the deck. It is applied parallel to the eaves and is nailed below overlaps. It can withstand short-term exposure to the weather prior to the application of a finished roof covering.
