The advantages of roof ventilation in the following conditions:

SNOW

• Prevents ice-backups on the eaves
• Prevents water backflows  

NON-VENTILATED ROOF
In mountain areas, dangerous ice-backups are often observed on the eaves of the roofs, which are caused by infiltrations in the roof structure.

VENTILATED ROOF
Ventilation enables the snow that has accumulated on the roof to melt uniformly, thus preventing the formation of ice-backups.
