Tegola Canadese's new production plant in Russia
In 1994 Tegola Canadese began selling its products in Russia through its subsidiary company, Zao Tegola. In the light of the extraordinary success of Tegola Canadese's products on the Russian market it was decided to open a production plant in Davidovo (80 Km south of Moscow) in 2001. The TRP (Tegola Roofing Products) production plant in Davidovo has been operational since 2004. In order to manufacture products that are suitable for Russia's weather conditions we use a new technology for bitumen modification with SBS. Thanks to this technology our products are more flexible - even at low temperatures - and have exceptional mechanical resistance. The TRP plant also manufactures raw materials, such as ceramized granules. Products manufactured in the Russian plant are exported to countries like Ukraine, the Baltic Republics and the CIS countries.
